A Message from the President

president

I have often said one of the best things about being a DG is the opportunity it provides to try new things. I am excited to embark on a personal adventure as your new president. The programming team has also gotten into the spirit and designed a variety of new opportunities for your enjoyment. Join us as we kick-off the new year with a special program at the Nelson-Atkins Museum. If you are looking for an adventure with your wardrobe or in the kitchen, the October and November programs are sure to please. We will end the fall season with our much-beloved holiday brunch in December. We’re planning to navigate all over the metro, too. From Lee’s Summit to The Plaza to The National, there’s a program in your neighborhood this year! In addition, there are all kinds of small groups that meet throughout the year. Finally, plans are underway for our 6th Annual Tables That Bloom. Get involved in this exciting event. It’s a great way to get connected and Do Good! Turn the pages of our newsletter or browse the Web site calendar to learn more about everything going on this fall, and watch your mailbox in January for more fun events in 2010. Come along with me and we’ll have an adventure together!

ITB,

Kathy Dusenbery
