Finals Food for BK and Mu Collegians
We will be ordering snacks for BK and Mu chapters during their finals week. Jaimie Johnson and Lauren Jones will both be at the Holiday Brunch and will accept baked goods or food you would like to contribute. At that time we will also accept cash donations to supplement our budget. Currently our plan is to order individually wrapped popcorn bags and cookies for both chapters but we would love to be able to order pizza one night too if our budget allows.

Mu House Corporation Positions Available
The University of Missouri chapter will be losing three members of House Corporation this spring, two to term limits and one to birth of a first child. We are interested in recruiting new members for House Corporation and would like to have them in place by the Annual Meeting in March, which will coincide with our 100th Anniversary. This is a minimal time commitment, but does require quarterly travel to Columbia on a Sunday. Please contact Terry Zeis White at terryzwhite@att.net if you are interested.

Save the Date - Tables That Bloom
Wednesday, April 8, 2009
Overland Park Marriott
Can you believe the Greater Kansas City Area Delta Gammas will host Tables That Bloom for the 5th time? April 8, 2009 will be our 5th event, and it promises to be the biggest and best yet! Tables That Bloom showcases area designers who pull out all the stops and welcome spring by decorating over 25 tables. The setting is a creative extravaganza!
Can you spare 15 minutes? To continue the success of Tables That Bloom, we need you! Some of our committees require as little as 15 minutes. Of course, there are opportunities, too, if you can donate more of your time. Here are a few ways to help:
- Make follow-up phone calls to a designer
- Provide snacks for a committee meeting
- Fold programs
- Help with publicity
- Donate an item to the silent auction
- Help the designers on the day of the event
- Attend the event with a friend!
The proceeds support CCVI, Alphapointe and the DG Foundation. Contact the chairmen, Barb Boersma and Kathy Shaprio, at TablesThatBloom@kcdg.org
Anyone with ties to a business that might be interested in sponsoring a table, please contact Kathy Shapiro or Barb Boersma at TablesThatBloom@kcdg.org and anyone interested in donating an item to the silent auction, please contact Martha Dooley at TablesThatBloomAuction@kcdg.org. Thanks!
KCDG Survey
Did you know that we are always looking for ideas to make our alumnae group more inviting to area Delta Gammas? Well now you have your chance to let us know what you like and what you would like to change. We have provided a survey for you here on our Web site. We encourage you to give us your opinion so that we can better serve our Delta Gamma sisters. Thank you in advance for your participation.
Socialites
This group is usually for Initiates from mid 1990's to present.
We are changing it up a little starting in June! Our meeting date will change to the first Tuesday of the month instead of a Thursday at the end of the month. If you are not currently on the e-vite list and wish to be included please call or email Liz. We are considering changing the day of the week around each month this next year to reach more DG's. We also may add a Royals game, a T-Bones game, a Wizards game, the Lucky Strike Lanes downtown, or the Legends.
If you have any ideas for events, please call or email Lindsay Fetter at lmfetter@gmail.com.
Looking for Fun DGs who enjoy Eating and Socializing!
Everyone is included! No Cooking required! Is anyone interested in starting up a monthly or every other month lunch bunch for working ladies and others during the day?
Looking for Fun DGs who enjoy Reading and Socializing!

Get a group together and you can piece the story together as you enjoy socializing with other DGs! Is anyone interested in starting up a monthly or every other month evening bookies this next year? A central location can be used or hostesses can sign up to host the get together.
If either of these opportunities grabs your attention, please call or email Janise Naughton at Yardqueen24x7@aol.com.
